Why Become A Delt?

Delta Tau Delta is the place for leaders to hone their skills, students to find support and guidance, and young men to find their paths to a life of excellence. With more than 153 years of guiding Brothers via the four principles of Truth, Courage, Faith and Power, the Delta Tau Delta experience has fostered innovators, advocates, change agents and community leaders by affecting the world through self-discovery. Where will your journey lead you?

Do you have what it takes to be a Delt?

The Road

The Road combines programming expectations outlined in the FAAR and information you need to learn to be successful in college and after graduation. It is important for you to accomplish your goals. Using The Road, you will work toward learning essential skills outside the classroom to prepare you for graduation.

Members who participate in The Road will learn:

  • Time management skills and how to develop personal goals
  • The impact of giving back and how to make a difference in your community
  • Professional interviewing and resume writing skills
  • What it means to be a leader and create a vision
  • And most importantly, you will learn about yourself and the man you want to be!

Our strides in Member Development are not limited to the walls of our Shelter; instead, we encourage our members to use the skills and resources we provide to better our communities as well.

Living according to a set of values

It means you must learn to push yourself. It means you must understand you represent something bigger. It means you must understand and live a life of self-control. Our values are held in common by Delts dispersed throughout the world. They speak of lifelong learning, of civic engagement and academic excellence. The values of a Delt are not for everyone, but as these men recognize they are the basis for a lifetime of learning and development.
